Members of congregation know it’s not true
by Mikejw inwe have lonely old folks and even some not so old.. they know the gb are not who they claim to be.. but they stay in the congregation because they are lonely.
i wonder what percentage of jws this is the case, i would guess a lot.

Willing to obey instructions whether they seem strategic from a human standpoint or not.
Something along that.
Driving further away,,, an inconvenience to yourself & families
It doesn't matter about you. What does matter is what benefits the Borg.

Its been said that the "cults" need it's members way more than the members need "cults".
The victims or um members,, are only pawns for the cults. Thats why you see the Borg & other such high control groups clamping down on information control,,,who they associate with & marry.
When cult victims realize the religion is a ''lie"",, well there goes that member,,,the free labor & yes ultimately $$$$$ is lost. Potential lossess.
Religion is only a front. To a tax free business model. The Borgs & other such groups can never accept this kind of critical thinking.

There's nothing like it.
Nothing like it at all.
Ruining a beautiful summer day. Which you'll never,,ever,,ever get back.
To sit in some assembly hall or kh all day. Where you feel at odds with people & they feel at odds with you.
That summer day is gone. Never get it back.
To think you could have been at the beach,,golfing,,bicycling...hiking..

Time.
Which you can never regain.
Money,,its possible you can.
Time,,,you cant.
The time spent on things getting ready for meetings also. Dressing up. Driving to & fro.
Time. When its gone,,,its gone.

These martyrs hate to be challenged.
If you ever listen to a recording of a judicial committee you hear over & over " we're not here to debate"" ","""we're not here to debate"". "" we're not here to debate".

Each subsequent generation in the Borg the craziness is passed on.
Either they cant see the craziness,, or they're just stupid. I think they can see through it all but accept ''willful blindness".
Each subsequent born in generation,, are blindsided & victimized before they even realize it. They have no choice

People stay in the Borg for decades due to the "sunk cost fallacy".
And probably because of the community of friends it gives them.

I will venture to say this.
The Borg as we knew it before the internet age didn't expect the ""internet age".
In the last 15 - 18 years a great "awakening" is taking place.
The Borg never anticipated that.
Up until about 2002-04 the Borg was thriving. After about 2006 the Borg was pooched with the internet. They're screwed.
